In an attempt to be a little healthier I discovered this tasty recipe, its quick, easy and full of goodness. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Ingredients Makes 2 portions
1 Ripe avocado
6 Dates (Medjool are best but I have tried others and they work just fine)
2 Tablespoons of Almond butter (or unsalted peanut butter)
1 Heaped teaspoon of Raw Cacao
A little water
A drizzle of Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar
Put the dates in the food processor and blitz for a few seconds then add all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth, addding more Maple Syrup if required. Serve in a fancy dish or espresso cup and enjoy!
